Random brief WHU players from the past you liked
|
Just watching us vs Burnley from 2009-10 on BT sport and Guillermo Franco is playing.
Had forgotten about him, but really liked him as a player. Only here short term but seemed committed, good team man, strong in the air and not a bad player considering. Scored 5 in 23 as well.

ILAN Araújo Dall'Igna Proper finisher.
I also liked Lucas Perez - overpaid obnoxious cunt by all accounts but scored shithouse goals when no-one else looked like doing so.

I quite liked Ilan as well!
Luis Jimenez was also playing in the game I was watching. Not so keen on him though. Bit of a disappointment during his time here.

Wasn’t Jimenez the Att Mid that Zola reckoned he was going to build the team around or something?
Franco and Ilan were both good in their short spells with us.
I still wish Diamanti would’ve stayed with us for longer.

How brief is brief?
I was a massive fan of Francois Van der Elst. He had 2 years with us so i dont know if he fits your criteria.?

Joey O'Brien.
Thought he was decent in the Championship at RB, always thought he could do a job at CM for us too
Shame he didn't really get a move after he left us, suppose it was the injury record that turned clubs off

Only1billybonds- no timeframe on it. Just someone who wasn’t here that long I guess.
Don’t want to stifle any non Coronavirus conversation!

Honourable mentions to Herita Ilunga and Seb Schemmel for one superb season each....
Before becoming complete gash thereafter.

Tihinen was immense at Old Trafford I remember. Not sure why Harry didn't pick him up permanently.
